“Little Ears” FREE Concerts for Kids!

Pianists, Maria Antonia Garcia and Momoko Muramatsu perform a four-hand arrangement of Tchaikovsky’s beloved holiday masterpiece. Returning to the “Little Ears” stage is Multnomah County Youth Librarian Susan Smallsreed who will narrate the enchanting story “The Nutcracker and The King of the Mice” written by E.T.A Hoffman.

Selected by Artslandia magazine as one of their top 50 favorite artists, pianists Maria Garcia and Momoko Muramatsu have had successful individual careers that have taken them around the world. Friends and colleagues since their college days at the New England Conservatory, they have joined forces to explore the two piano and one piano-four hand repertoire creating the 20 Digitus Duo (“Twenty Fingers”). Hailed by the press as “Dynamite”, “Intrepid” and “Impressive” they explore the classical standards but also the vast repertoire of their shared Latin American musical heritage.
